Having completed the Security Risk Assessment and Design phases we understand that the projects success will be largely determined by the quality and effectiveness of the Project Management function.
It is essential that any mitigation measures are delivered in the most effective way possible. CornerStone’s Project Management methodology has been uniquely developed with security projects in mind. Based on Prince 2, the CornerStone Project Management process enables our highly skilled Technical Consultants to deliver the largest and most complex projects on time and within budget.
Our process encompasses every aspect of the delivery process including the following:
- Production of an implementation plan and program of works that will be coordinated with any business constraints;
- Scheduling of the works and the management of the delivery program;
- Project mobilisation;
- Project coordination;
- Financial monitoring;
- Regular reviews of the works and progress meetings;
- Weekly meetings on site and the production of regular progress reports.
Our Project Management delivery is aligned with the RIBA work stages and can be applied to construction and non-construction projects. Usually, our Technical Consultants will have played an active role throughout the preceding stages of our Consultancy Process, building up vital knowledge and understanding of both the functional requirements and client environment. This continuity is a key factor in ensuring successful outcomes. We will define the Implementation Plan in conjunction with our client or their representatives which will include a detailed programme of works that will encompass all deliverables and dependencies.
We have the knowledge and resources to ensure that each project is concluded successfully, meeting the required success criteria within the agreed programme of works.
